Here are some changes that will have to be made due to yahoo's options. these will differ from what our league has been used to:
1.) No bye week pickups (use your bench players or transactions) 2.) NO I.R. pickups. Yahoo's I.R. is only for a player who is out for the year, and you wnat to keep him in a keeper league (doesnt really apply to us) 3.) There are no tie-breakers for weekly head to head matchups. Hoepfully the use of the "fractional scoring" will eliminate any possibility of a tie. Tie-breakers for record standings are broken by 1.) winning percentage, and 2.) points scored These are yahoo's rules not mine. 4.) No alternate players to set. Your lineup can be set all the way up to 10 mintes before kickoff so this isn't that big of a change. Yahoo will keep track of the points scored by your bench players for your reference but obviously these points will not count for anything 5.) No bonus points for a TD over 50yds for any position. This might be the biggest difference, alot of times this could be the difference maker in a game for us, but there is no option for it, so not much we can do. 6.) The 10pts awarded for a defensive shutout will NOT include points allowed by the offense. for example, if the Giants defense shuts out the redskins, but Eli throws an INT that goes for a TD, you would still get the 10pts for a DEF shutout. This is actually pretty cool, so long as your defense shuts out a team you will get the 10pts.
